Lady of the Woods

According to the Celtic Zodiac, I am a Birch Tree. This is not too surprising to me considering that I have such a strong fondness for Birch Trees. I love their simple beauty. The most peaceful sound in the world to me is hearing the leaves of a Birch tree rustle in a gentle breeze. We cut down some dead Birch trees last year to have for firewood this year, and we got a lot of Birch bark. It is so beautiful, and versatile. My creative juices start flowing when I see a sheet of Birch bark, but I have yet to pinpoint that one unique thing to craft with it.

I have been horrible in keeping an up to date blog for over a year now.
I thought it would be nice to a photo slide show summary of things that we did through out the year. :) I will add more pics as the year progresses.
